JIB FOOTPRINTS
We're often asked what space a jib will take up within an event space, largely due to 'seat kills' as well as physical area. Below is a rough guide of what footprint each different length of jib will require.
As a jib operates in a circular radius from the central pivot this will obviously differ depending on what degree of rotation is required. For example, if a jib is to be sited along a wall, then it will be more likely to need a 180 degree swing than full 360 degree movement.
